I have resided in Parkdale for 15 years of my life and used to regularly play at High Park. Their infamous unique castle playground was massive with hiking areas and a mini zoo. I actually just visited their zoo last summer and had an amazing time simply strolling through the paths looking at the animals. It is open to the public and there is no cost/admission fee to see these animals. I have a lot of good memories with old friends at High Park.
It was tragic to hear that a bunch of hooligans set this playground on fire. You can read The Toronto Star article here for further details.
These fools has noting better to do with there time. I remember attending the build when I was a kid, every school had there kids pitch in an I was one of them. To see how foolish they are to Distroy childhood memories it's a shame. I say we make them build it back to spec without any help, plus jail time.
ReplyDeleteIt's a low blow to see where children play is where fools reside there nonsense. I don't know if you remember mani, there was a big slid there. It was a trek to get to the top but when you hit the side it was worth it. It was said when they took thag out, now we're faced with this aresenc. I don't blame the city if they don't make it back. We as humans are fucked we don't know how to take care of things. We sure knows how to start fight and wars but not to stop anything.
