Pretty Little Liars

With most of my favorite television shows ending their series this season and the rest on hiatus for the summer, I have been obsessing over Pretty Little Liars.

I randomly watched an episode one Sunday evening and have been hooked ever since. It is like a teeny boppers version of Desperate Housewives.

The level of suspense is just wild and it definitely keeps you fully engaged, wanting more - the mystery around who "A" is, is almost overwhelming.

I also like the fact that they incorporate so many aspects of life, like: bullying, homosexuality, friendships, trust, divorce, step siblings, adultery, lies, secrets, bonds, beauty, fashion, etc.

I managed to get through all 3 seasons, with each episode being 45minutes within 2 weeks. Yup! Talk about having no life. When I get consumed in something, like a tv show or a book I go M.I.A until I am up-to-date - kind of like a bear in hibernation.

Now although, that I am all caught up and with the summer season finale being next week, after we learn that there are 2 "A"s (ahhhhh!).

I have also started reading the Pretty Little Liars series. Book 1 of 11 with the 12th one coming out this December 2012.

Exciting!!!

The Walking Dead

I was actually really excited when I heard the season premiere of The Walking Dead was coming to television. I attempted to watch the first episode and got bored 15minutes into it, so evidently discontinued further watching the show. I have always been a Resident Evil fan (from video games to the movies) so I thought that I would immediately be drawn to this television series - I guess I never really gave it a chance.

Now, there is so much hype about The Walking Dead and it is always airing at random times on channel 55 where I will watch random episodes. Also, Season 1 is also viewable on Netflix so I thought what the hell and began watching S1E1 on Saturday night. I absolutely love this show, the walkers give me so much anxiety because you never know where and when they come from or who they are going to eat next. The group of people who survive this zombie apocalypse are constantly on the move just trying to live. However, there is drama and so much emotion amongst each other which spices it up. I am already on S1E6 and am clearly obsessed with being caught up - there was a lot of hype about Season 2's finale episode last night.

Anyone else watching The Walking Dead and enjoying it as much as I am?

'Desperate Housewives' Series Finale

Ahhhhh!!!! and another one of my favorite drama television shows coming to an end. What a tragic year! What am I suppose to watch in Fall/Winter of 2013?! Again, along with House, Desperate Housewives is ending their 8 season run.

It was sad to see Mike Delfino being murdered off last Sunday as we count down to the last episode. Also, Tom Scavo now officially wants a divorce from Lynette to be with his new girlfriend? Ugh, like come on Tom. I am actually getting nervous, wondering how the series is going to end. It seems like they are heading towards a tragic ending.

The series finale episode will be airing on Sunday, May 13, 2012 with a special 2 hour grand finish.

The women of Wisteria Lane have enlightened my Sunday evenings, packed with lots of laughter and suspense. Each woman with her own problems but the best part of the show was no matter what they still made time for each other (poker and wine night).

I will have to say, my all time favorite character is the one and only Eva Longoria who plays Gabrielle Solis. Her character resembles so much confidence, manipulation, no regret, my way or the highway attitude and sarcastic humor. Running around in her fashionable outfits, flirting and seducing men with her charm. And we can definitely not forget about her kids, Juanita and Celia - her mothering techniques were pretty awesome.

Good Bye Desperate Housewives, I hope you deliver a fabulous series finale episode!! :( *tears

"House" Series Finale

My all time favorite medical drama with my all time favorite character Dr. Gregory House is finally coming to an end. The series finale date has been tentatively set to May21/2012. It has been 8 good seasons and his abrupt, arrogant, manipulative and hilarious character had me running home every Monday night to be pasted in front of the TV. Even if I missed the episode, as soon as I got home I would be on my laptop instantly streaming it.

I can also say, that most of my medical knowledge has been obtained from the television series and has really educated me on different types of diseases and the crazy diagnostic procedures. The series has also taught me alot about human behavior and the main lesson learned was: Everybody Lies.

Kudos to an awesome, amazing, fantastic, superb, magnificent television series. You will sincerely and utmost deeply be missed.
