Laser Hair Removal

So, I had laser done on my underarms about 3-4 years ago and it was a total fail and a total waste of $500. Well not completely because the coarseness of the hair has minimized to really thin hairs, but with my skin complexion the lady used an IPL machine and totally discolored my underarms - now they are ugly and slowly in rejuvenation mode.

Now there is big talk about the new Soprano XL laser machine which is apparently great for darker skin people and with my girlfriend and her friends having great results, I have decided - what the heck, I am giving it a second go.

The best thing with the Soprano XL machine is that it is pain free, quick and easy. I remember the IPL machine feeling like someone holding a rubber band and sling shotting you with it - OUCH!!!! and the aftermath was hot burning arm pits.

I just had my first treatment this Sunday, September 30th, 2012 so I can't really say much as of yet. I am doing 4 body parts at a great price and can just hope for great results.

Tip: One of the ladies also informed me that purchasing a Groupon laser removal package, you think you are getting a great deal but apparently they do your treatments on lower settings (5 jewels as opposed to 10 jewels) so after your package is complete you have to buy another one anyways - I would say this is a waste of money. But hey, they got to make money somehow... right?

I will let you guys know how it works out after my 3-4 treatment. Treatments are every 6 weeks. :)
