Danier Leather's fashion show at Cube Nightclub

Clubbing on a Tuesday night? This, I can honestly say that I have not yet done. Well, there is a first time for everything. Tonight, alongside Rebecca I will be attending Katwalk at the newly renovated Cube Nightclub to solely witness Danier Leather's fashion show at 11:30pm. Although this is way past my bedtime and a working day I do not intend on raging (partying) tonight. I just hope this torrential downpour ease's off by tonight because this fashion show is supposed to occur on the rooftop patio.

Beerfest 2012

I attended Beerfest for the very first time last year on a Sunday. This was the 2nd consecutive year I went, however, this time I attended on a Saturday and wow... There were so much more people, longer wait times to fill up your glass and too much congestion. I also found that the porta pottys were unbearably disgusting - thank god I've mastered poppin' a precision squat, haha. Note to self: bring tissue in bag. Overall, I had a great time. The weather was amazing, people were friendly (and drunk) and there was an unlimited inflow of beer. I also did not eat lunch to ensure I was able to consume as much beer as possible without the bloating effect. I do however, recommend purchasing the Hoptimize package instead of the original one because it permits you to a shorter line, closer entrance and extra chips for a couple of bucks more.

My new laptop

I have been using my old age laptop for an excess of 8 years now. It works, however, it is slow as molasses. I visited Future Shop yesterday afternoon to purchase a TV and impulse bought a new laptop and TV. Yikes! (The only reason I visited Future Shop was because my cousin works there, otherwise I would not recommend Future Shop to anyone, seeing to as they are lacking in the Customer Service Department and they clearly do not care about you after they make their commission/sale from you).

I have contemplated purchasing a MacBook however, Safari and the whole Apple layout just does not appeal to me. I like to stick to Windows because it is definitely what I am good at and because it is what I know.

Walking down the the laptop aisle, I saw the cutest little 14" HP notebook and totally fell in love. When I laid eyes on it, I knew it belonged to me + the deal was too good to pass up (thanks cuz, if you are reading this). My browsing ability is now, that of 2012 speed and I am uber excited. The light weight, sleek design and portability is just perfect. In my extreme excitement, I totally forgot to take a picture, hence this photo-less post. Sorry!
